Yes, I do party like I used to, get invites like I used too. Just that, I think I grew out of it.

But the people I hangout with now are a totally different bunch. The level of intensity, passion and togetherness is boundless. I make friends/acquaintances almost every other week.

Clue? Travellers, travellers at heart and a global, raceless community.

Dandelion loved it first, I as the sceptic grew to love it wayyy later.

It's a real good find. Couldn't find the 'DVD' back in 2003. It wasn't screen here either.

I love it.

Pride & Prejudice: A Latter-Day Comedy (2003)



It is a 2003 independent film adaptation/updating of Jane Austen's novel, set in modern-day Provo, Utah, at Brigham Young University. The characters are Latter-day Saints (Mormon, an American-based Christian sec) .

The film received largely positive reviews outside Mormon enclaves such as Utah; some of the humor and plot devices derive from and require an understanding of Mormon social and religious mores. (Source - Wikipedia)

No A-List actors but a substantially good cast, the movie are broken down into plots separated by references to quotes taken from Jane Austen's novel, Pride and Prejudice.

Personally, I find this is a good modern remake paying homage to the great Pride and Prejudice.

Being and indie film, the cinematography is relatively creative and abstract i.e. very apparent in the movie's flashbacks, dream scenes and connecting-scenes.

Watched it a couple of times, now I decide to make it a playlist and share it on my blog.
