Cool Events ~ Need to party? This should do it

This is getting redonculous. One post in almost 2 weeks. Buck up Fuzz... BUCK UP!

Anywho... some updates.

MJ is R.I.P, I missed some parties, H1N1 scaring people, stuck in the middle of the megasale madness and I was learning how to be a workaholic.

That sums up the past few weeks for me. I'm sure you were busy too.

Anyways, some cool things are set to happen.

1. Went to watch another round of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at Genting last night (Thurday night cause friday I'm freee). Package comes together with a hotel room and buffet breakfast... all for RM 60. Nice to be a Genting Card holder. Check it out in their Genting Worldcard site.
   
   
2. I'm on apparel-loaned-to-celebrity watch at SHOUT AWARDS today (17 July). I'm going for Sean Kingston and to babysit a couple of thousand ringgit worth of dresses. Should be fun. Wana go to SHOUT AWARDS? Just read on.
   
   
3. Thanks to certain remaining fractions of CoolerClubbers who have provided the necessary party infos and invites in my time of party-despair. Your efforts would not be wasted mates.
   
   
4. Below are the list of recommended parties I want you all to attend. Why? Coz its free (if you know how to get them) and its better than ANY normal clubbing experiences.
   

Tonight... SHOUT AWARDS! And my eyes will get to see Sean Kingston. VIP? Off course! Assuming you visited the blog, like NOW. You can just head down to the venue and possibly grab some last minute tickets.

The Shout Awards 2009, 17 July

WHAT: The Shout! Awards is a 2.5 hour LIVE SHOW/CONCERT and TV special dedicated to give recognition to those who have made great impact and creative breakthroughs in Malaysian music, film, TV and radio.

WHEN: 17th July 09, 830pm (TODAY!!!)

WHERE: Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil

HOW: Tickets could be obtained from the guard house at Sri Pentas TV3. (Calling them beforehand to enquire the tickets is recommended. The public should also lookout for ticket giveaways via the 8TV Quickie, 8 Team, FlyFM, Facebook, MySpace and also numerous other magazine and newspaper contests.

WHO
The event will be featuring acts like Pop Shuvit, One Buck Short, Joe Flizzow, Nikki, Jin Hackman, Shila, Estranged, Caprice, Bunkface

With a special performance by SEAN KINGSTON!

Missed one or two of the Hennessy Artistry party series. I'm not going to miss this one. Neither should you.

Hennessy Artistry HALO, 25th July

WHAT: Witness the magical moment from Hennessey Artistry who are well-known to be bringing in some of the notable international acts to our shores like Flo-Rida and Shayne Ward.

WHEN & WHERE: 25 July (Saturday), 8.30pm @ Bukit Kiara Equestrian Park

Who: This time round, the artists featured are the legendary Ying Yang Twins (USA), Fat Man Scoop + DJ Camilo (USA), Dominique Tsai (Australia), Homies (Taiwan), Lumisence and Mr. Sam (France).

HOW: By invitation only. I'm not so sure about this. I get mine from people who knows people who knows other people. Otherwise, to gain your invites log onto www.artofmixing.com.my.

Why Attend?
I was there when they flew in Flo Rida, Machi and Shayne Ward to entertain our local souls. It was off the roof, straight into the sky, piercing the atmosphere reaching the moon... It was that good.

They really want you party people to know that if it's Artistry... there will be some legendary parties and performances. Sure... we can dabble into branding and marketing strategies using parties etc etc etc.

But if I can tell you one thing and one thing only about this party, it would be this.

- Ask someone if they didn't have fun at a Hennessy Artistry party and you will find out the answer.

Martell presents Juice 7th Anniversary, 31st july

WHAT: Juice Magazine is celebrating their 7th Anniversary

WHEN & WHERE: July 31, 2009; 9pm @ MOS, Sunway Pyramid

WHO: Performance by Mr Fluff, Eclectic Bots, Foulworks, Victor G and more to be announced plus a fantastic fashion show by Adidas.

WHY ATTEND?
Hmmm? This one you have to ask electro/nu-age kids to answer. My respond is that, besides the obvious splendour of electro music and electro party theme, this is a Juice Magazine Anniversary.

Past experience indicates memories of fondness and high level of fun with stage performances, live sets, on stage games promising goodies... overall a good party to be at.

The last time I was at a Juice Anniversary? Lets just say the CoolerClubbers and I had too much fun.
